WHAT IS KIRTAN?
Kirtan is devotional singing and chanting, typically in Sanskrit language, which focuses the emotional energies towards the higher Self. Chanting can be a cleansing for the soul, because the mantras (chants) have particular vibrations which access and pay tribute to Divine energies existing within and around us. You do not need to be a "singer" to chant. It is more key to have a humble heart and open mind, which allows you to fully experience the power of music.
