Introduction to Yoga: Six week courses in both locations: offered several days per week. Theses courses encourage and support newcomers to try a variety of techniques that are found in many styles of yoga teaching. Breathing techniques, yoga postures, relaxation techniques, and contextual information about yoga are provided so that the newcome is equipped to join any class at Baltimore Yoga Village or any other yoga studio with confidence and mindfulness. The presence,encouragement, and support of a woman's partner is a powerful aid in pregnancy and in birthing.This workshop combines discussion, massage, yoga, and comfort techniques to support couples in connecting with their unborn baby while enhancing their awareness and confidence in the birthing process. Your partner does not need to be a romantic partner; a friend may substitute. $50
