Introduction to Meditation (Pre-register for this 6 week session) all are welcome 5:30 -6:30 PM |
| Learn the Art of Meditation…the Art of Being who we truly are!
True meditation is really Love, our natural being. We do not realize this because we spend a lot of time turning away from ourselves by identifying with our thinking. In this course on meditation we will learn the art of staying Home…true meditation. Since we have spent so much time moving away from ourselves, we will start by learning to return to who we are, by shifting our attention away from our thinking. We will focus elsewhere, like on the breath (vipassana meditation), our heart (samyama meditation…an ancient yogic way), our compassion(metta meditation), our joy ( laughing meditation), etc. until we realize there is no subject “me” and object “other”, i.e. we rediscover we are the Silence, the Love. Then we learn how to live from “here”, just being open and directly experiencing everyone and everything as it truly is, loving ourselves and all unconditionally.
This 6 week session begins June 3rd. $96 for all six weeks/ only $90 if you sign up by May 25th. (If you are concerned about missing class because of summer plans, we are offering a free 2 class pass to our yoga center with this course so that you can come to any class on our drop in schedule for 3 months and get the full value of your $96)Call 410-662-8626 to pre-register. Minimum of 6 students must register.
